12. Lee Donoghue

Hutt South Electorate

Kiwi actor Lee Donoghue was born and raised in Lower Hutt until moving to Auckland to pursue his acting career. After landing a lead role on ‘Shortland Street’, Lee utilised his public profile to become involved in various charity work, including for the Make A Wish Foundation, and the TV3 Telethon.

Lee travelled abroad to pursue his acting career further, and eventually felt that this industry, and the media, had been hijacked by an anti-democratic agenda. This has led him home to represent New Zealand First in the upcoming election, to safeguard the fundamental values of democracy and sovereignty in our country.
