Elliot Ikilei

Elliot Ikilei is a political commentator, community advocate, trainer, and public speaker, known for his involvement in conservative politics. Of Niuean, Tongan, Māori (Te Āti Awa and Ngāti Raukawa), and English heritage, Ikilei was born in Palmerston North and raised in Auckland.

Elliot has been working as a spokesperson for Hobsons Pledge, where he advocates for equal citizenship, democratic representation, and ‘one law for all’. He has become a prominent voice surrounding free speech, family values, and national identity in New Zealand.

Ellioti previously served as Deputy Leader and later Leader of the New Conservative Party.

Deeply committed to helping others, he has supported at-risk youth and vulnerable families across Auckland, spending more than two decades supporting young people through challenges including family violence, self-harm, abuse, and leadership development.

A qualified workplace health and safety trainer, Elliot has trained people across areas such as rescue techniques, psychological frameworks, behaviour modification, resilience and more. He currently works in industrial health and safety training.
