Jon has been a member of New Zealand First since 2014 and stood as a candidate at the 2014 and 2017 elections in Hunua and Port Waikato electorates. He also managed the 2020 campaign for Port Waikato and helped multiple electorates during the 2023 election.

With a background in marketing, Jon manages our advertising and marketing campaigns across print, digital, radio and television for general elections and public meetings. He also has a long history in better transport advocacy at local and central government levels, and has authored many transport policies for the party.
