Young New Zealand First is the youth wing of New Zealand First. Incorporated in 2015, Young New Zealand First represents and advocates for the interests of young people in New Zealand. Young New Zealand First shares the same devotion to the principles of the New Zealand First as the wider party but advocate from a youth perspective and lobby issues of concern to the next generation.
Open to all young people between the ages of 18 and 30 who share the values and principles of New Zealand First, Young New Zealand First offers a diverse and inclusive community that welcomes and values the perspectives of its members.
Through our efforts, Young New Zealand First has advocated for a range of issues that impact young people in New Zealand. These include affordable housing, mental health services, student loan reform, drug law reform, and education reform.
Young New Zealand First seeks to challenge the status quo presented by other youth wings and bring about change that benefits all young New Zealanders. By joining Young New Zealand First, young Kiwis can contribute to these important discussions and play an active role in shaping the future of our country.
